Analysis of Documentation of Real Damage to Vehicles in Road Accidents

This diploma thesis deals with a comprehensive analysis of the photographic documentation of vehicle damage in traffic accidents. A systematic overview of the current documentation and included inspection is carried out in the analysis. Police records are compared with records made during the crash tests. Further, the documentation in this thesis is divided into two groups of conflicts. The representative of the accidents are described in detail and then evaluated. Similarly, this procedure is practiced on other car accident that reflect the mutual deformation. The result of this thesis is to determine the optimal location of the lens for the acquisition of documentation and establishing a baseline number of photos to document damage to the vehicle after the traffic accident.
Motor vehicle accident analysis

This thesis deals with a comprehensive view of traffic accident enquiry. There are analysed each step of this investigation, starting with evidence gathering (measurements, photography, ect). Further, there are view of clue, damage and personal injury. Thesis shows commonest analysis and reconstructions methods and calculations and specials types of accident (collision with passenger, trucks crash, motorcycles crash). For better understanding, there are mentioned basic principals of physics and problems of forensic engineering.
Methodology for determining forgeries and copies of miniature paintings

The methodology describes the signs by which it is possible to distinguish between an original miniature portrait painting and other types of imitations, whether they were produced individually or in serial reproduction. For this classification, the methodology uses both routinely available tools (e.g. a magnifying glass or a stereomicroscope) as well as specialized imaging and analytical instruments, without the help of which accurate determination cannot be done. In all cases, these are non-invasive procedures that do not require any material removal from the painting. The analytical procedures used to determine the provenance of a work are in some cases completely new.

Tracks in contemporary art

The diploma thesis as a whole deals with the topic of tracks in contemporary art. It is divided into three parts. Theoretical, didactic and practical part. In the theoretical part, I first define what a track means to me and I apply this definition when searching for tracks in the works of contemporary artists. The theoretical part of the work includes an interview with Patrik Proška, an artist creating some of his works in public space. In the didactic art project, created for high school students, the topic of tracks is viewed somewhat more freely. The main goal of the thematic unit is to lead students to think about tracks through their own artistic activity. Based on the experience gained, they should be able to think about the transience of the tracks, the meaning of our legacy and the consequences of our existence. I especially focus on the art area related to land arts and street art or graffiti. The practical part is the result of my reasoning about the tracks left in public space. I established my reasoning on the knowledge gained in the theoretical part. The result is a set of author's books that document my thoughts on the tracks found or created. Galerie výtvarného umění v Ostravě (GVUO) po více než dvouměsíčním uzavření otevírá Dům umění výstavami PAVEL NEŠLEHA - Vidět jinak a ZISKY 2018/19 GVUO: JOSEF BOLF - Planeta, která neexistovala. Oba výstavní projekty budou zpřístupněny veřejnosti od úterý 26. května v běžné otevírací době, to je od 10 do 18 hodin. V Domě umění, GVUO budou k vidění do 30. srpna 2020.

Pavel Nešleha: to see differently
Galerie výtvarného umění v Ostravě
Výstava malíře Pavla Nešlehy (1937–2003), výrazné osobnosti generace šedesátých let, poprvé v Galerii výtvarného umění v Ostravě zveřejňuje výběr z jeho rozsáhlé, tematicky bohaté tvorby. Představuje obrazy, kresby, pastely a digitální tisky vzniklé od osmdesátých let do roku 2003, a to se záměrem ukázat myšlenkovou hloubku umělcovy osobité reflexe přítomného světa. Společným znakem vybraných děl je spolu s principem zvětšených detailů fenomén světla. Jak dokládají obrazy Vývrat (1981), Pokus o cestu za K. H. Máchou (1982), Stopy (1983), pastely Tajemství znaků (1993–1994), Záznamy světla (2002–2003), kresby a pastely Oidipus (1992–1993), bylo to právě pojetí světla, které podnětně ovlivňovalo umělcovu imaginaci a vedlo ji k obnažování skrytého a podstatného. Výrazovou a ideovou bohatostí světla se Nešleha zabýval ve svém díle dlouho a systematicky. Napomáhaly mu tvárné možnosti iluzivní malby a poznatky romantiků posilující vztah k mohutnosti přírodního dění a k osudovosti lidského bytí. Na meditativním zhodnocení reality se podílelo i umělcovo fotografické vidění, jak poznáváme z digitálních tisků Via canis (1997), Přírodní struktury (2001) nebo z rozměrného objektu Živly (1999–2001) ozřejmujících šíři jeho obsáhlého, imaginativně působivého díla.
